Which course should I book?
If you’re a complete beginner with no prior experience, book the Introductory Beginner Barbering Course. If you’re NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) or already working behind the chair and want to refine speed, fades and finishing, book the Advanced Masterclass.
Do I need experience?
Beginner Course: No — it’s designed for complete beginners.

Advanced Masterclass: Yes — it’s designed for trained or working barbers (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
Do I need to bring my own tools?
We recommend bringing your own kit if you have one (clippers, guards, scissors, trimmers, razor). If you’re a beginner and don’t yet have tools, you can still attend — we’ll guide you on what to buy and what matters most.
Do you provide models?
Beginner Course: Practice is carried out on a mannequin head with guidance and feedback.

Advanced Masterclass: Yes — live models are provided unless you’d like to bring your own (please tell us in advance).
Do I get a qualification?
Yes — both courses include a CPD-accredited certificate on completion.
How long are the courses?
Both courses are 1-day, in-person training days (approximately 6–8 hours, depending on the intake and practice time).
How many seats are available?
We keep groups intentionally small to maximise hands-on practice and coaching. Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
What happens after I book?
You’ll receive confirmation of your intake date, a prep checklist, and any guidance needed (including tool recommendations if you’re starting from scratch).

Training Locations

Each course runs in a professional training environment — with hands-on practice, real standards, and measurable progress. Beginner Foundations is held at Cwmbran Barbers, and the Advanced Masterclass runs from Reflections Training Academy in central Bristol.
